OMG it solved my issue. Thanks! I bought myself even new microphone due to this poor quality and later I was thinking that Adobe has a bug in Rush and wanted to uninstall. Why does this option even exist and why is this turned on by default?

Jef: This ps-es-to-uxp is made by Adobe. And I think it should be able to deal with it and few other things. And if not we can fork it and change it.

You should also check this: https://github.com/adobe-uxp/ps-es-to-uxp this is dedicated tool for conversion. convertJSONdescriptor is very similar to batchPlay but not exactly the same.

You might also check my new panel in Alchemist plugin called Sorcerer: https://forums.creativeclouddeveloper.com/t/sorcerer-new-alchemist-panel-to-generate-plugins/3949 Basically it allows you to generate plugin from (Alchemist) generated source within less than an hour. Works best if your script needs very little UI. And also using Occultist panel you can turn action files (.ATN) into plugins very fast 🙂

I don't think that you can require binary modules in CEP. Because hash.node could be C++ compiled into binary.

If you drop image on canvas and image has DPI info inside than PS tries to resize placed image according to document resolution. It is very annoying and as far I know there no way to disable it. Btw I think that new rendering engine introduced in PS 2019 is made from scratch.

If you want to cancel script I would try "app.doProgress()" this is the proper way how to do it. For new PS versions.

So you basically find actionDescriptor in binary form for smart object transformation and then you create regular descriptor from it, find four corners of smart object and you set them to its width and height also present in that descriptor then you convert it back to binary and rewrite original data. So after PSD reopen it should be ok.

I have about 20+ extensions and they are usually not sorted. But in some rare cases were sorted even in new PS versions. Maybe there is some race condition or timeout.

You could try to use app.doProgress() I think it replaces/uses a native progress bar and I think it is CC 2015.5+ It might not work properly with some actions. I am not sure if it is fixed.
